Drink Greens and Stay Lean

Green leafy vegetables are not the most popular foods on the menu. When you were a kid your parents probably insisted you ate all the greens on your plate if you wanted ice cream for dessert. As an adult, you are probably aware that greens are ‘good for you’, but no matter how healthy greens look they just don’t hold the same appeal as a cinnamon sugar doughnut. They also take longer to eat and who wants to spend their lunch hour chewing away on a plate of celery and lettuce?
The Health Benefits of Greens
Most people don’t eat enough greens in their diet, which is a real shame because greens offer numerous health benefits. A diet rich in green vegetables helps to keep us lean and healthy.

Top 4 Best Foods For Building Muscle

It would be great to think building muscle mass was as easy as lifting a few very heavy weights on a regular basis, but if you are serious about building significant muscle mass, eating the right foods will make a big difference to your training progress. The human anatomy is like an engine. If you fill it up with the right fuel, it will perform well, but if you try shovelling a lot of rubbish into it, you will find it a lot harder to reach your training goals. So what are the best foods for building muscle and why should you include them in your diet?
Whole Eggs
Eggs are a cheap source of protein, but unlike the protein found in other foods, egg protein is easily absorbed by the body and literally nothing goes to waste.

How to Choose a Personal Trainer
Nick Amiradaki

Personal trainers have become a standard fixture at many gyms – that statement will no doubt get a few of the more useless ones off side. Seriously though, I had one PT approach me yesterday at my local gym initially asking about my training routine, OK that’s fine, I gave him a few high level details and tried to continue my workout. It’s what followed that shocked me, he proceeded to tell me I would be better off following a system that he would design to suit my goals… Oh really, to suit my goals ha, the goals that I haven’t even communicated to you yet.. you’re going to create a magical program for me… piss off mate, I don’t need you to regurgitate the useless drivel you picked up on your 4 week PT course.

Ditch the Slow Boring Low Intensity Cardio

Hey guys, I hate to break it to you but I’m about 3 hours away from hopping on a plane and enjoying Thailand’s sandy beaches, cheap cocktails and spectacular diving. This also throws an interesting twist into the last 3 weeks of my 6 week cut, will I still be able to continue stripping fat while ice cold .50 cent beers are on offer, I guess only time will tell. While away, I’ll continue to fast for 16 hours each day, weight train 3 times per week, perform 2 high intensity interval training sessions per week (on the beach of course) and watch my calorie intake – controlling all these elements should allow me to continue stripping fat, in theory anyway… But that’s enough about my tropical paradise adventures, lets get onto today’s topic…
The battle between low VS high intensity cardio has been around for years.

Intermittent Fasting Weight Loss: Round 2 Week 2

Hi guys, I’m going to keep this weeks post fairly short, I’ve been busy creating videos for you guys demonstrating all the compound movements. If you check last weeks post you will see my ugly mug demonstrating Deadlifts on a strength training week. I’ll be releasing these videos over the next couple of weeks to help you guys out. You can also checkout the Primal Six Pack YouTube Channel where I will be releasing many more videos.
Now before I get into this weeks results and photos I wanted to give you a quick tip when it comes to losing weight and choosing your meat. When including meat in your diet opt for lean choices, don’t buy meat that has equal quantities of fat and protein, this will be extremely high in calories and will throw your macronutrients way out.

Intermittent Fasting Weight Loss: Round 2 Week 1

Hi guys and happy new year to all of you. While I’m sure we all enjoyed the Christmas and New Years break, it probably meant that we ate a little too much custard drowned Christmas pudding, or maybe that was just me.
It’s been about 6 months since I completed the 45-Day Body Transformation and feel that it’s time for round two… this time I’m going to do things a little different. I’m going to provide weekly posts with photos, weigh-ins, workouts, meal plans and calorie breakdowns…
That way you guys can simply follow my nutritional program and modify the quantities to suit your calorie requirements. While I’ve been able to maintain a pretty lean physique without counting calories for the past 6 months it has meant that I have put on a little bit of fat (See photo below), so it’s time to get serious again and start counting those calories, it also means that I’ll be cutting out alcohol for the next 6 weeks.

Burn Body Fat by Eliminating Gluten
Nick Amiradaki

While you’ve probably seen other articles out there ranting about the negative health effects of Gluten, I’m going to explain what you really want to know – How by eliminating Gluten your body will actually burn more fat. Admittedly, I will have to touch on some physiology so you have a better understanding of how the human body responds to Gluten.
Why eliminate gluten?
Well the short answer is, Gluten is a poison!! Big statement, I know… While one of the outcomes of The Primal Six Pack Program is physical excellence, another is optimal heath and well-being. This is achieved by eliminating processed sugars, trans fats, grains and the infamous Gluten. To better understand why we need to eliminate it, we need to understand what Gluten is and its effect on the human body.

Hey guys and welcome back to Primal Six Pack, I’ve got a particularly tasty post workout recipe in store for you today, it’s a slight twist on the traditional pasta bake where we substitute pasta for brown rice and include a couple of other key ingredients. It’s actually very simple but tastes delicious and now forms part of my staple post workout nutrition, I’ve also included a macronutrient breakdown for your convenience.
In other very exciting news I’m about to release the Primal Six Pack program that includes the 45-day body transformation system in early November designed to help you burn body fat fast and develop six pack abs. The development of the product is in response to the overwhelming amount of Facebook messages and emails I got from you guys in regards to training, fasting and nutrition.

The Paleo Diet and Intermittent Fasting Get Hitched
Nick Amiradaki
1 Comment
Intermittent Fasting, or IF, takes the basic premise behind how humans evolved and thrived on an irregular meal schedule and incorporates it back into our modern lifestyle, this is how we survived long before convenience stores and modern food preservation techniques made “three square meals a day” possible. Skipping the occasional meal or two has proven to have several health benefits including increased fat burning potential.
The biggest challenge we face isn’t knowing when to eat, but rather knowing what to eat. While intermittent fasting addresses the WHEN, the Paleo diet answers the question of WHAT you should eat.
Enter the Paleo diet – otherwise known as the ‘Paleolithic Diet’ or ‘Caveman Diet’. The Paleo Diet has been proven to be the healthiest way you can eat, simply because it is the only nutritional approach that works with your genetics to help you burn fat.

Boost Testosterone Naturally
Nick Amiradaki

With so many opinions and products on the market claiming to naturally boost testosterone levels it can be hard to decipher truth from fiction. I wanted to share my personal experience and real results since introducing an Intermittent Fasting window into my lifestyle, a key component to the Primal Six Pack program. These lifestyle changes also encompass organic nutrition, compound weight training and natural supplements. With so little hard evidence out there supporting the vast array of claims I wanted to differentiate myself.
The purpose of this article is to highlight how these lifestyle changes have affected my hormone and cholesterol levels. Without going into too much depth, it’s important to understand that higher testosterone levels are closely affiliated with lean muscle development and increased fat burning potential.
